Hilton Tulum Resort Tour
Great resort for large groups, weddings, families with young kids
Hilton Tulum is a large all inclusive family resort about an hour and a half from the Cancun or an hour from the Tulum airport. I stayed one night in December 2023. It's really important to know that this resort is not in the city of Tulum. If you are looking for bohemian chic downtown Tulum, this resort is the opposite.

Things you might like:
The great ocean views from most of the rooms. Lower floors may be blocked by trees, but you'll face the ocean.
Good dining with several restaurant options
Nice pools with food and drink delivered to your chair. Building 1, 2, and 3 have their own pools.
Great family area with large splash park, playground, buffet, food truck, and ice cream/ churro stand.
Things you might not like:
Very large complex. Shuttles run every few minutes.
This resort attracts a lot of groups and weddings so activities for the individual guests may be cancelled to accommodate a group.
Overall, this feels like a corporate group hotel. I think it’s a great location if you want to do excursions. You have to be prepared that a large group may take over the resort.
